Connection Design Service – Partial Mode

In Partial Mode, the user selects one or mode jnodes of his/her model, in jnode view. The selected jnodes, all empty, are then sent to the Service in order to be designed.

The cost of the service is by joint, and depends on the following possibilities:

  • If a node is completely designed and passes all the checks, the cost is equal to the number of joints times the cost per joint (in tokens).
  • If the node cannot be designed, and no joint is available, there is no cost.
  • If only some joints are correctly designed and others not, the cost refers only to the joints that have been correctly designed.

Even if there is no limitation on the jnodes that can be selected and sent to the Service, it is logic that if the request is about hundreds nodes, it is more convenient to directly send to the Service the CSE file, with the request to automatically design only the selected jnodes, or at limit, of all the jnodes of the structure (Complete Mode).
